Day 1

Arrive in Moscow and embark on your cruise ship (Moscow North).

Day 2

Moscow. Morning sightseeing tour of Moscow encompasses Red Square, St. Basil’s cathedral, the famous GUM store, the Bolshoy Theatre, the Sparrow Hills and Novodevichy Convent. In the afternoon we set sail on our incredible Volga-Oka Rivers journey.

Day 3

Arrive in Myshkin – tiny and very picturesque town with the unique museum of mouse. A walking tour of the town and visit to the museum.

Day 4

Arrive in Yaroslavl. City tour of Yaroslavl – the oldest city on the Volga, “Florence on the Volga”, founded by Yaroslav-the-Wise at the beginning of the Õ cent. The highlights of this tour are the Monastery of the Savior and the church of Elijah the Prophet.
Departure for Kostroma. City tour of Kostroma, visit to the city’s principle attraction – Ipatievsky monastery - Tzars Romanovs’ dynasty cradle with the magnificent Trinity Cathedral.

Day 5

Arrive in Nizhny Novgorod, situated at the confluence of the Volga and the Oka rivers, one of the major commercial centers of Russia, famous for its trade fairs. The city, which population numbers about 1,500,000 now, boasts of a number of outstanding historical and architectural landmarks. We make a city tour to see the magnificent Kremlin, the Annunciation Monastery and the Arkhangelsky Cathedral. We sail further along the Oka.

Day 6

On a morning stop we tour a small picturesque town of Pavlovo and go on sailing to Murom, one of the most ancient Russian towns with a history of more than one thousand years. Sightseeing tour with visits to the Annunciation and the Trinity monasteries.

Day 7

Whole day bus tour to Vladimir and Suzdal to to see the masterpieces of Russian architec-ture � the Assumption and St.Demetrius Cathedrals and the unique architectural complex of Suzdal.
Lunch at a restaurant old Russian style or at a peasant's family. Back on board the ship in the evening.

Day 8

Arrive in Kasimov, old Russian town on the Oka where two religions meet: Orthodoxy and Izlam. The town is inhabited by both Tatars and Russians and sightseeing tour includes both: cathedrals and mosques.

Day 9

Arrive in Ryazan, quite a big industrial city on the Oka, where numerous architectural monuments have been preserved. City tour includes visit to the Kremlin and the Assumption Cathedral.
Half-day tour to the marvelous village of Konstantinovo � the birthplace of the famous Russian poet Sergey Yesenin, where there is now a memorial complex.

Day 10

The day on board the ship. Evening arrival in Moscow (Moscow South).

Day 11

Moscow. Sightseeing tour of the Kremlin with its cathedrals, renowned for their fine art and marvelous interiors.

Day 12

Departure. Transfer to the airport.
