* Cathedral of Christ the Saviour - The enormous gleaming golden dome and gigantic structure of the newly built Cathedral of Christ the Savior is visible from all over central Moscow and is the largest church in Russia. Clad in marble and granite, with huge bronze doors covered in relief depictions of the saints, the cathedral is an awesome statement of the re-found power and prestige of the Orthodox Church and one of Moscow's most impressive ecclesiastical buildings.

* Tainitsky Gardens - are a part of the Kremlin that has retained more or less its original purpose. Since olden days, there has been a small garden along the Kremlin wall leading to the bank of the Moscow River. The configuration of the Taynitsky Gardens has been altered repeatedly.

* Tretyakov State Gallery - one of the world’s largest museums, a treasure house of old Russian art from the XXI century till our days. The gallery bears the name of its founder, Pavel Tretyakov, a rich Russian manufacturer and patron of art. Now the Tretyakov Gallery holds more than 50000 works of painting, graphic art and sculpure.

* Red Square - the chief architectural detail of the square is the Cathedral of the Intercession on the Moat, which the people renamed the Cathedral of St.Basil the Blessed. In front of the cathedral was a marketplace, also the scene of religious ceremonies, appearances by the tsar and the announcement of court verdicts from the Lobnoye Myesto. This square is the real witness of a dramatic Russian history. The Victory Parade to celebrate the defeat of Hitler Germany was held on here on June 24,1945.

* Pushkin Fine Arts Museum - Moscow's equivalent to St. Petersburg's enormous Hermitage Museum. It houses an extensive collection of ancient art and artifacts from the Ancient times to the New Age, including Egyptian, Assyrian, Ancient Greek and Roman pieces. The museum was established by the father of the famous Russian poet Marina Tsvetaeva.

* Moscow Metro - one of the most beautiful underground railway systems in the world. The stations built in the Stalin era are remarkable for their pompous ornamentation and uniques architecture and look more like temples and palaces . Most of them are decorated with sculptures, glass, colored marble and bronze chandeliers.

* Moscow Kremlin and Kremlin Cathedrals - the Kremlin has always been perceived as a symbol of power and might of the Russian land. Each era of Russian history lefts it’s architectural mark on the Kremlin; within the Kremlin walls there are many architectural monuments, churches, cathedrals, museums, etc.

* Moscow City Tour - main streets, squares and places of interest: the Tverskaya street the most animated and saucy, the former headquarters of the KGB, Russian White House, the Red Square, the Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed, the Cathderal of Christ the Saviour, the Bolshoy Theatre, etc.

* Lake Baikal - natural treasure, the real gem of Siberia. It is the deepest lake in the world with the cleanest and most transparent water. Surrounded by the beautiful mountains, forests and wild rivers, Baikal is an immense and breathtaking area of physical beauty.

* Irkutsk - the center of eastern Siberia. Irkutsk is a treasure house of the spiritual culture of Siberia; it is probably the only Siberian city that preserved its historical individuality: old wooden constructions, built without a single nail and decorated with skillful carving. There are about 700 monuments of history & culture here.

* Ekaterinburg - the major industrial city and transport hub of Siberia. It was founded by Catherine the Great as a fort and metallurgical factory. Ekaterinburg is the city of great historical interest: here took place the tragic murder of the whole czarist family. You'll visit the execution place of the last Russian tzar Nicholas II, Museum of Mineralogy, etc.

* Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed - commissioned by Ivan the Terrible and built on the edge of Red Square between 1555 and 1561. Legend has it that on completion of the church the Tsar ordered the architect, Postnik Yakovlev, to be blinded to prevent him from ever creating anything to rival its beauty again. St. Basil's is a delightful array of swirling colors and redbrick towers. Its design comprises nine individual chapels, each topped with a unique onion dome and each commemorating a victorious assault on the city of Kazan.
