Full day excursion to Sergiev Posad - the town was named after Saint Sergey Radonezhsky. In the XIV century he founded a monastery there that became one of the greatest in Russia. Nowadays the monastery carries the name of Trinity Lavra of St. Sergey and is considered to be "Russian Vatican". It�s a temporary residence of Russian patriarch.
*A trip to Sergiev Posad can be replaced with excursion to the Tretyakov State Gallery � the greatest art museum in Moscow, and excursion to Kolomenskoe � a museum under open sky.

You'll visit the execution place of the last Russian tzar Nicholas II, Museum of Mineralogy, etc.
