New Year in Russia is the brightest, funniest and richest holiday celebrated in Russia. It is the first one on the calendar and in popularity. People see the New Year in at midnight on the 31st of December and greet the holiday with champagne and listen to the Kremlin chimes beating 12 o'clock. Russian Holiday tradition includes a decorated New Year's tree - yolka (fir tree). It is exactly like Christmas tree and serves only one purpose, aside from that all mushy-fussy holiday spirit; you get your presents under the tree.
Both children and adults always wait for Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost), to come and bring them a present. The adults usually exchange the gifts somewhere after midnight.

Lunch at the local restaurant.
22:00 New Year's Dinner -atmosphere of youth and happiness, bright melodies and rhythms- this is the era of unforgettable DISCO. This New Year party will be full of Golden Hits of popular music. Popular singers and bands will put you into the right mood for dancing and having a good time. Open buffet, charming presenters, karaoke competitions and many pleasant surprises are waiting for you. A Grand Fireworks show and champagne will make your celebration complete. |

Late breakfast at the hotel - tasting "health recovery" dishes and drinks under recipes by nations of the world will help to start a new day after an exciting New Year celebration.
Excursion to the Moscow Kremlin & Kremlin Cathedrals. The Kremlin has always been perceived as a symbol of power & might of the Russian land. Each era of Russian history left it's architectural mark on the Kremlin. Within the Kremlin walls there are many architectural monuments, churches, cathedrals, museums, etc. The most spectacular celebrations of new Year take place on Red Square, with a laser show, fireworks, concert by bell ringers from the Kremlin and President's New Year's address to nation. Decorations always stay in place until 7 January, so you will have a chance to see the Red Square in its beauty and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of New Year (by metro).

Walking along Arbat street - Arbat Street is one of the oldest streets in Moscow. Many great writers, artist and painters lived on Arbat Street and houses have been carefully preserved. For example: Alexander Pushkin, Alexander Blok (the famous Russian poet), the famous composer Skryabin and others. During New Year holiday it is especially beautiful, because many garlands and fir-trees decorate the shops, cafes and restaurants. |
