Giorno 1

Arrival in St. Petersburg. We meet you whichever flight you arrive on.
Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Welcome-dinner late-evening.

Giorno 2

Trip to the Hermitage Collection (in the Winter Palace). The Hermitage ranks among the world's major museums. Its collection consists of nearly three million art objects (West European art, the Antique world, primitive culture, Oriental culture and art, the history of Russian culture, numismatics).
Afternoon canal-boat trip - to enjoy the riversides of St. Petersburg.
Free time. We'll help you to plan evening entertainment if you like.

Giorno 3

St. Peterburg sightseeing coach tour - all major city sights including famous buildings, cathedrals, palaces and parks.
Free afternoon - may be some shopping, strolling the boulevards, visit historic churches, etc

Giorno 4

Departure to Novgorod by bus. Novgorod is one of the oldest Russian towns, founded over 1100 years ago and regarded as the "cradle of Russian culture". Unique architecture, famous school of icon-painting, prosperous commerce of an important Hansa member, independent and democratic government distinguished the city of Novgorod among the others.
En-route stop at the Tsarskoe Selo Palace of Catherine the Great - marvelous palace and park complex, located 25 km to the south of St. Petersburg, where Catherine the Great lived and died.
Afternoon walking tour around Novgorod's medieval Kremlin - you will be impressed by the unique architecture of the famous St. Sofia Cathedral.
Free evening - you may book a table to dine in an ancient chamber of the Kremlin.

Giorno 5

Excursion to the Yuriev Monastery and Museum of Wooden Architecture. We will drive across the Novgorod marshes to the monastery which was founded at the beginning of the 12-th century by Yaroslav the Wise. It ranks the second in size and beauty after the St. Sofia Cathedral.
Free time after lunch - you may take a boat trip up to Lake Ilmen or visit the City Museum.

Giorno 6

Departure from Novgorod by road to Torzhok. Torzhok is a small 19-th century merchant's town, mainly interesting because its appearance has changed little since then. There is no tour' since there is more for atmosphere than content, but you can stroll the river-banks.
Accomodation at a good hotel (which is rare in rural Russia).

Giorno 7

Early departure to Moscow - the capital of Russia, one of the biggest cities in Europe with more that 850-years history. The Moscow attractions are remarkable for their variety of styles and epoch, being embodiment of the Russian character and history.
Lunchtime arrival.
Afternoon sighseeing tour of the city center
- main sreets, squares and places of interest: the Tverskaya street the most animated and saucy, the former headquarters of the KGB, the Bolshoy theatre, Russian White House, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the Red Square, the Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed, etc.
Free time - may be stay downtown in the evening for supper.. and perhaps more too.

Giorno 8

Morning trip to the Moscow Kremlin. The Kremlin has alwys been perceived as a symbol of power & might of the Russian land. Each era of Russian history left it's architectural mark on the Kremlin. Within the Kremlin walls there are many architectural monuments, churches, cathedrals, museums, etc.
Afternoon free time - you may visit the famous art at the Tretyakov or Pushkin Museum, shop around Kuznetsky Most or haggle for souvenirs on Arbat Street.
Evening free time - entertainment or farewell supper. We can help you arrange either or both.

Giorno 9

Departure day. If you are flying back to Europe, you probably have the morning free and leave after lunch. Whenever you leave, we provide an airport ferry service.
